A Flash map client uses the Flamingo MapComponents as a map viewer. Note that this map client only shows WMS layers.

The following map uses a Flamingo config file for the Demis WMS. Problem is that it only shows a map after having zoomed in: see the discussion on http://www.flamingo-mc.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=147&forum=5.

The next map uses Flash to show a map context node; in this case, the layers are fetched using a proxy script and the crossdomain problems are avoided.
